About The Event
The Triduum, also known as the Paschal Triduum or Easter Triduum, is a period of three days that commemorates the final days of Jesus' life, his death, and his resurrection.
Holy Thursday: The evening liturgy marks the beginning of the Triduum, reflecting the Last Supper. It celebrates the institution of the Eucharist and includes the washing of feet that Jesus did for His disciples.
Good Friday: Commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus. It’s highlight is the Veneration of the Cross, showing respect, honor, and reverence to the main symbol of Christianity whereby Jesus sacrificed his life for us.
Easter Vigil: The high point of the Triduum, where the celebration of the Resurrection begins. It goes through salvation history leading up to the resurrection of Christ.
Easter Sunday: The day that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus.
